My name is Noah Kalandar and I’m originally from Philadelphia. PA. After finishing my time at Kohelet Yeshiva HS I went on to learn for two years in Netiv Aryeh. I then got my undergrad degree in YU continued to YU Semicha, and am currently learning in the Mir. I've spent many of my favorite summers in camp, coordinate activities, giving chaburas, running teen programs, was a Madrich in Torat Shraga, and enjoyed teaching Torah throughout my time in YU too. I love spending time with people, making them smile and laugh, and helping connect them to Torah. My name is Aliza Kalandar. I’m originally from Woodmere, NY. After a great year at MMY and undergrad at Stern, I went on to Hunter College to get my nursing degree and worked in Columbia Presbyterian as pediatric cardiac nurse. Since moving to Israel I’ve transitioned to remote nursing work and taken on more teaching roles at various seminaries. I have always tried to ensure teaching Torah is a part of my life in some capacity, and I am so thankful for the ability to combine a love of people and a love of Torah here in Yerushalayim. I’ve spent endless summers in camps of all shapes and sizes, and loved getting to meet new people, learn new things together, and have an overall fun and refreshing experience together.
